kayla's 9 months
Kayla has turned 9 months old! The pediatrician said after a routine physical exam and with some observations of Kayla that she is healthy and developing well. She is a good eater and I can now give her a variety of baby food and ground up fruits and veggies. Yumm! She is sleeping well and it is so exciting to see her development as she crawls, sits and stands. She is so close to walking it could be soon. Then nothing will be safe! As for her temperament I would have to say that Kayla is 'slow to warm up.' Although she readily accepts new people and situations she can get upset and sometimes is difficult to calm down. Kayla has a little separation anxiety but I wonder if that comes with the age. She does prefer her mother, but is comfortable with her father, we are trying to engage the two of them in activities without me around to build their relationship.

Aww it sound like Kayla's doing fantastic. That's great she has a healthy appetite, she won't be too picky.
My daughter's name is Emily and she has the same eating habits as Kayla. It's exciting introducing new, solid foods to them!
How sweet!!! I am looking forward to reading more about her. I am also noticing as I go through these blogs there didnt seem to be many boys...I have one thats why I noticed...also I have 3 boys of my own...in real life...so I am always a little curious. I love to hear that she is doing good with Dad...they are so important in the fact that that is how she will measure a man later in life:) Good Job Mama!!!
My daughter Rosie is closer to her mother as well. I need to be careful not to compete with Nancy for Rosie's affection. I'm sure that would only cause confusion. As it is she still has very positive responses to my presence, and appears happy when I get home from work. I interact with her as much as possible, and just love her and try to be the best dad I can be.
looks like everything is going fairly well with your daughter. I am having similar success with my son Derek Jr as he is eating very healthy as well.
Sounds like baby Kayla's doing pretty well. Be thankful she eats so well. My poor baby Steven has had quiet a bit of digestive trouble and diarrhea. Hopefully he will get over it soon. Maybe he has allergies.
